    wow! good stuff Jay, we definitely look forward to your photo-capades. hopefully we’ll get to Valencia in May when we visit!

    Hi Jay, thanks for using the photos. Actually las fallas were one of the most impressive “parties” I had been in spain, three days of non-stop parting with ALL the city (and tourists like us).

    Way cool! I always thought it woould be nice to take a year off and just visit countries during their fireworks festivals: Amsterdam (New Years), Spain (Las Fallas), Mexico (fireworks contest), US (4th of July), Malta/Gozo, UK (Guy Fawkes at Lewes), then back to Amsterdam. That would be a heaping bonfire of awesome.

    how i envy you! i was born in Valencia, very close to the cathedral. the fallas is inside my veins, my blood. last time i saw them in-situ three years ago. i watch live via internet-video the “mascletas”: i miss the “rumble” under my feet and the “smell”.
