I love those pictures so much.
I had one timneh grey of 1 year old. I had to buy it from a local peddler for the poor wild bird looked really shocked and poor-conditioned being trapped in the cage that was hung up on a tree by the side of some noisy street of Accra, Ghana. I took it home and took care of it for almost 5 months till it was healthy and fledged. Few days ago when I took him out in the yard at dusk which he enjoyed a lot he flied away. He stood on a branch of tree for a while when I shouted out his name and tried to get him down from that tree. I guess for a moment he hesitated but still he chose freedom…I am glad and praying he could get to the north where the land is much more wooded. But everytime the thought of him got caught and trapped again especially we got along well so I’m afraid he’s no longer scared of people, it really breaks my heart.
I downloaded these pictures from your blog because they look so much alike. Hope you don’t mind. Thanks.
