The 10th lucky caller will receive….

I have been so lax about chronicling the last leg of the trip to Europe.

Rome is major undertaking. In our physical scrapbook it constitutes 1/3 of a 4 inch binder.

As I was sifting through my pictures to cull out some for the post I came across this one taken from the outside patio area at the Vatican Museum. In the background you can see the antenna of Vatican City Radio.

We jokingly referred to it as K-POPE, Voice of God Radio!

We never actually heard it but we figured the faithful could probably tune it on on their fillings.

I really wanted a radio t-shirt. Maybe they had give on-air give aways?

Brothers Grimm

I just found out that Terry Gilliam (quite possibly my favorite Python) has a new movie coming out on the 26th of August.

“The Brothers Grimm” stars Matt Damon and Heath Ledger as the 19th century folklorists who gathered tales that have enchanted and terrorized generations of children.

The movie casts the Grimm siblings (Matt Damon and Heath Ledger) as hucksters who travel from town to town with a bag of tricks and a reputation as fearless monster slayers, spinning tall tales of supernatural terrors that they will exorcise “” for a fee.

However, they get a dose of fairy-tale reality when they encounter a true curse, complete with a forest of trees that can move on their own, a horse that swallows a child and a 500-year-old queen in a tower (Monica Bellucci) abducting young girls to steal their life energy and preserve her beauty.

Wholesome whole milk

Yummy.

I started buying this milk about 6 months ago.
Yea, it’s a bit more expensive but it is so tasty.

From their website:

Horizon Organic products are as good for you as they are delicious because they are made from organic ingredients produced without the use of antibiotics, added growth hormones or dangerous pesticides.

Our cows are not treated with antibiotics or added growth hormones. And we keep them in good health by giving them certified organic feed, fresh air and access to pasture. In return, our cows give us delicious organic milk. It’s the foundation of our great-tasting milk and dairy products.

I will never buy “regular” milk again.

The Uncyclopedia

I am a huge fan of the Wikipedia.

Wikipedia is a Web-based, multi-language, free-content encyclopedia written collaboratively by volunteers and sponsored by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation. It has editions in about 200 different languages (about 100 of which are active) and contains entries both on traditional encyclopedic topics and on almanac, gazetteer, and current events topics. Its purpose is to create and distribute a free international encyclopedia in as many languages as possible. Wikipedia is one of the most popular reference sites on the internet,[1] receiving around 60 million hits per day.

Now that you have the background you can understand why this is hillarious…

The Uncyclopedia.
Billed as the content-free encyclopedia that anyone can edit.
