Living in Houston as I do we’re all running in circles, spitting up nickles as Hurricane IKE approaches.
Gas lines were forming at 6:00 am as I topped off my tank. We stopped by the Kroger to pick up a few things and it was starting to get busy. My office is closing early today and will be closed tomorrow.
You can feel a bit of tension as the city gets ready.

Stay safe and dry, man!
Be safe, my fingers are crossed for y’all!
If you were to happen to evac to Austin, give us a call…
Also, I’m really digging those stormpulse maps.
Have you been reading Eric Gerber’s Live Chat’s on Chron.com? He must have the patience of Job. I don’t kow how many people I talked to who want to lynch that guy who asked about leaving his dog outside tied up during the storm.
Stay safe and awesome! Never change – and never give up on your dreams… ever.
This isn’t a year book…
If you 2 need a dry place to crash, or electricity, give me a holla. The birds can come too. I hope Ike doesn’t go all Ike Turner, but if he does and you need anything, i’m here!
