Comedian George Carlin dies at 71
RIP George Carlin
George taught me about life.
He taught me how to deal with stupidity.
Part of who I am today is because of George.
May he rest in peace…
Because of George I learned that it was okay to mock the stupid. In fact, it was encouraged. I also learned to question authority and find answers through reason, not just through what people told us to believe. Most important though, he made me laugh.
Rest in Peace George, I will delete you from my address book in about two weeks. Though I may not empty the trash for another month or so. 🙂
Amen, brothers and sisters. Carlin was not just a fine comedian, bu a thinking comedian. I’m going to miss him.
