Apparently my psueo-celeb status makes my own stinging by the evil-doers at Quechup all the more blog-worthy.

My post describing my shame has been mentioned in Dwight’s Techblog, Anne Heathen’s Librarianne blog and Dan’s Wisdom of a Distracted Mind blog.

And now, JOY OF FREAKIN JOYS, I’ve been linked at Boing Boing….

Traffic to baldheretic.com is through the roof right now.
We’ll see if the site can hold on and weather this category 5 Internet hurricane.

Also, still fielding responses to the invite coming in at a steady pace as well as over 100 invitations to join Quechup.

I am dreading the show this Wednesday….

i got the invitation from you, but i’m afraid you weren’t my first. no, my quechup cherry was taken by another. (quite possibly the same scoundrel who took yours.) i did go and sign up, but i managed to refrain from letting it scan any address books. didn’t look like anything too exciting. thanks so much of thinking of me though…i really appreciate it. friend.

Ok, no blood no foul… so my email addresses are now in their database. let’s just hope my spam filter is good enough to filter them out.

Buy me a margarita and we’ll call it good….

Hey there! Sorry to be one more person adding to the shame pile – I was just looking for other people to make me feel less dumb for falling prey to the scam. 🙂
