Decided to render a picture I took of Jim into a retro album* cover.
*In the olden days music compliations on a disc were called record albums or “albums” for short. Similar to what the kids these days call CDs but they were 12″ in diameter and used a needle to read the data instead of a laser beam….
Fun with Photoshop
Hey! I’m sitting here with Jim right now and he says this is SOOO awesome and that he thinks he’s never looked cooler. 🙂 He also says that he now has to record an album to go with this cover! A hard rock album!
Ok, now he wants to stare at it some more…
My daughter doesn’t think in terms of “albums”, her music is all formated in “playlists”. He swaps them with her friends. Few of them have the whole album, just their favorites.
Lots of albums only have a song or two that really stick with you, always found it frustrating to buy all of it, just for the good ones. Guess it is a new mindset for digital music business.
