Power went out at 8:00pm Friday.
It’s Sunday and there’s still no power. IKE was a diect hit and just about EVERYONE lost power.
2 million cutomers, lights out.
Posting this from a laptop on dialup. Battery is failing so gotta run soon.
Good news, the hummingbirds survived. I don’t know how, but they did. Lots of birds when we put the feeders back out.

There seems to be a lot of power in Pasadena, so hopefully it won’t be too long before you have it as well.
glad all is well and your house is intact. Galveston did not fare so well. Hopefully power will be restored soon.
Glad you guys are ok…the latest on the power – all local news networks are saying it will be days even weeks before power is restored. We live by the Reliant Stadium which lost part of its retractable roof. We are currently in West Texas.
Glad you guys are safe! A bit of wind damage to the fence line out here in Richmond, but nothing major. Power went out around 8:30pm on Friday and came back on Saturday around 5:30. Went out again this morning around 8am, but came back up at 2:30.
I slept through most of the storm. =P

My pop’s here, enjoying a holiday for his 75th. As far as we know the house in Nausea Bay survived. We’ll know soon. Steve Ryan and Bandit are OK too. No power of course but the phones work.
